Wooden plates
The wooden plates in our assortment are made out of elm and ash wood:
Elm wood is hard, tough, impact and pressure-resistant.
Earlier longbows, rims, wheels, spokes and car bodies from elm were manufactured.
Nowadays, this precious wood is used among other things for veneers, furniture, gunstocks, parquet and paneling.
Ash wood is hard, tough, elastic, impact and pressure-resistant.
This precious hardwood is used for everything, where high tensile and flexural strength is desired, such as for sports equipment and tool handles. Earlier longbows, skis, rims, wheels, spokes and car bodies made of ash were manufactured.
This precious wood is further for veneers, furniture, gunstocks, parquet and paneling.
The wooden plates from elm and ash wood are artisanal produced in Tyrol (Tirol).
